Pricing Supervisor

OVERVIEW

We are seeking a Pricing Supervisor with experience in the Sea Freight sector and a service-oriented mindset to join our team in developing pricing strategies, logistics products, and optimizing operational efficiency. This position is suitable for candidates who wish to develop in a management role, work with international partners, and act as a link between Pricing, Sales, and Customer Service.

The job you will be responsible for

• Develop, update, and optimize pricing systems for transportation services such as Sea Freight, Agent Network, and Cross-border.
• Analyze the market, propose key service routes, and develop product development plans.
• Propose output, revenue, and profit targets for each route and service type.
• Research and develop new service packages, coordinate with Sales to implement and monitor market effectiveness.
• Collect and analyze data on freight rates, costs, operational capacity, and policies of shipping lines, agents, and partners.
• Search for, evaluate, and develop a network of partners such as shipping lines, co-loaders, international agents, and cross-border partners.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, and monitor the service quality of partners periodically.
• Develop evaluation criteria and propose maintaining or changing partners as needed.
• Design appropriate transportation plans for each type of cargo and schedule. • Ship and operating conditions
• Support Sales in providing quotations, market information, and transportation solutions to key customers
• Monitor service implementation to ensure compliance with commitments and agreed-upon quality

We are looking for

• At least 4 years of direct experience in the Sea Freight Forwarding field; preferably with a Team Lead or Supervisor role.
• Thorough understanding of international shipping processes, customs declarations, and related logistics chains.
• Experience working with international shipping lines, agents, and logistics service providers.
• Knowledge of maritime law, customs regulations, and international transport standards is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and partnership development skills.
• Excellent English skills for work, especially email and working with international partners.
• Proactive, responsible, and able to coordinate across multiple departments.
