Israeli ocean carrier ZIM Integrated Shipping Services has unveiled its latest offering, the ZIM PNW Xpress (ZPX) service. This new, standalone route promises to enhance connections between Asia, Canada, and the United States, focusing on the strategic Vancouver Gateway.
Beginning its journey on January 21st from Vietnam’s Cai Mep port, the ZPX service follows a strategic path: Cai Mep (Vietnam) – Yantian, Xiamen, Ningbo, Shanghai (China) – Vancouver, Deltaport (Canada) – Pusan (South Korea) – back to Cai Mep. This comprehensive rotation ensures a thorough coverage of key Asian and North American ports.
ZPX stands out for its rapid and reliable transit times, particularly catering to the dynamic Pacific Northwest market. This service goes beyond mere port-to-port connections, offering expansive rail links. These include extensive reach across major Canadian and US inland IPI destinations, encompassing regions such as East & Central Canada, US Mid-West, and the Ohio Valley.
Hani Kalinski, ZIM’s Executive Vice President of Pacific BU, emphasized the company’s ongoing commitment to adaptability and excellence in service. He stated, “ZIM’s dedication to agile, premium solutions is at the forefront of our operations. The launch of ZPX is a testament to our promise of providing exceptional shipping experiences with unique, premium features.”
