The Vietnam Export Promotion Forum 2023, supported by the Ministry of Industry and Trade (Department of Trade Promotion) and the Swiss Government, is set to take place in Hanoi on November 24, 2023.
3a Logistics proudly participated in this event, demonstrating their commitment to integrating and developing a green economy. Their presence offered opportunities to expand their network, learn, and share experiences in the logistics sector, meeting international market demands.
The forum’s theme was “Green Export Promotion”. It was attended by over 300 delegates, including leaders from ministries, local governments, embassies, international organizations, associations, and businesses in Vietnam. The annual forum consisted of two main sessions:
The first session focused on green export promotion and sustainable development, featuring international experts discussing green transition trends in global trade and related EU and German policies.
The second session centered on the green transition in Vietnam’s export promotion ecosystem, with national experts discussing mechanisms and policies for promoting green industry and trade in Vietnam.
Leaders spoke about the importance of green production, exports, and growth, aiming to achieve the goals set in the National Green Growth Strategy for 2021-2030 and vision towards 2050. Vietnam’s strong environmental commitments at the COP26 climate summit, including the goal of net-zero emissions by 2050, were highlighted. The forum also emphasized adapting to high environmental and social standards set by international import markets.
